Pakistan Fashion Week 7, was successfully hosted at the Russell Hotel, London on 10th -11th January 2015. Riwayat’s journey has been a rich one so far, from humble beginnings in 2011 to showcasing 40+ top designers from the subcontinent and beyond. PFW 7 has been a spectacular event which as expect reflects the quality that has come to be expected from us.
The two-day event has focused on latest trends in Asian designer-wear including contemporary and formal/bridal selections, showcased by renowned designers including Honey Waqar , Rang Ja, Sahar Atif, Aijazz Aslam, cocktail, Kamdani , Moazzam Abbasi, Lajwanti, Shariq Textiles, Sonya Battla and many more the ramp. Along with the catwalk shows the exhibition was a must attend part of the event. The exhibition was busy both days, buyers and media flocked in to see what all the fuss is about and grab next season’s fashion.
Not only were the bloggers, Pakistani celebrities and press out in force but Pakistan’s High Commissioner Syed Ibne Abbas and Rabiya Javeri Agha Secretary Trade Developer Authority of Pakistan attended to see for a new type of fashion week, Pakistan Fashion Week in London (PFW7).Hosted by renowned BBC anchor Atika, the fashions shows saw some of Asia’s most famous models walk the ramp including Fouzia Aman, Eshal Fayyaz, Sadaf Khan & Paula Souza (miss Brazil) . With the support of ARY TV since the inception of PFW, Riwayat’s success has echoed around the world.
The response to PFW7 has been greater than ever and the team announced they will look to host the next PFW in May 2015 . Riwayat have established a reputation for being able to host events of the highest quality, and the designers and guests were delighted with the outcome.
